Responsibilities
- Performing patient assessments
- General respiratory care procedures and protocols
- Critical care procedures in adult care areas
- Blood gas analysis
- Maintenance and management of all equipment
- Patient education
Qualifications
- Minimum Education Required: Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences
- Minimum Experience Required: Previous working experience in respiratory care, or successful completion of department specific orientation including skills validation of competencies for the duties and responsibilities of this level
- Minimum Licensure/Certification Required by Law: Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care and Licensed by the State of Georgia under the Composite State Board of Medical Examiners
- Additional Qualifications: Current certifications in BCLS, ACLS. Must be actively practicing and maintaining all required competencies
