Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments
• Conduct general respiratory care procedures and protocols
• Execute critical care procedures in adult care areas
• Carry out blood gas analysis
• Maintain and manage all equipment
• Provide patient education

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences
• Minimum Experience: Previous working experience in Respiratory care, or successful completion of department specific orientation including skills validation of competencies for the duties and responsibilities of this level.
• Licensure/Certification: Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care and Licensed by the State of Georgia under the Composite State Board of Medical Examiners.
• Additional Qualifications: Current certifications in BCLS, ACLS. Must be actively practicing and maintaining all required competencies.
