About the role

The Respiratory Therapist performs usual and advanced respiratory therapy techniques as described in the Policy & Procedure Manual. The primary function is to treat, perform diagnostic tests, evaluate therapy, and make recommendations to the physician related to the respiratory system.

Responsibilities

• Treat patients using respiratory therapy techniques
• Perform diagnostic tests on the respiratory system
• Evaluate therapy plans and make recommendations to physicians

Requirements

• Current RRT certification
• Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program
• At least 2 years of relevant experience

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficient in computer software used in healthcare settings

• Knowledge of respiratory anatomy and physiology
