About the role

Saint Clare’s Health, a member of Prime Healthcare, is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner II (RCP II) to join its award‑winning team. The organization operates CMS 5‑Star rated hospitals and a network of healthcare facilities across Morris, Warren, and Sussex counties, offering high‑quality, compassionate care.

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory therapeutic and pulmonary diagnostic procedures as ordered by the provider.
• Assess, plan, implement, and document patient care, considering age‑ and population‑specific needs.
• May be assigned as Lead RCP, overseeing the section or department during the shift.

Qualifications

• Current State Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
• Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) or obtain within three months of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross) upon hire and maintained.
• Adult Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (AHA or ARC) upon hire and maintained.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification (AHA) upon hire or obtained within 60 days of hire.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program certificate (preferred).
• Associate Degree or Bachelor of Science degree (preferred).
• Two years of acute‑care experience (preferred).
