RRT - Pulmonary Sleep Technician

About the role

Provide specialized respiratory care by performing patient assessments, testing, and education related to pulmonary diseases and sleep disorders. Monitor patient compliance with prescribed therapies to ensure optimal health outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and testing related to respiratory health.
• Provide patient education on respiratory therapies and conditions.
• Monitor and ensure patient adherence to prescribed treatment plans.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate’s Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences required.
• Work Experience: Prior experience in respiratory care or successful completion of department-specific orientation with competency validation required.
• Licenses & Certifications: RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care and licensed by the State of Georgia, required upon hire. BCLS (Basic Life Support) certification also required upon hire.
