About the Role
A Respiratory Therapist will conduct patient assessments, perform respiratory care procedures, and provide education on respiratory health.
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient assessments and perform respiratory care procedures
- Manage arterial blood gas puncture and analysis
- Maintain and operate respiratory equipment
- Provide patient education on respiratory health
Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Respiratory Care Sciences or equivalent
- Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credentialed by the National Board for Respiratory Care
- Licensed by the State of Georgia
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced certifications: ACLS within 30 days of hire, PALS within 60 days of hire
- No prior work experience required
