Responsibilities

• Performs patient assessments
• General respiratory care procedures and protocols
• Arterial blood gas puncture and analysis
• Maintenance and management of all basic equipment
• Patient education

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree in Respiratory Care Sciences (Required)
• Credentialed by the National Board for Respiratory Care as a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) and licensed by the State of Georgia under the Composite State Board of Medical Examiners (Upon Hire, Required)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) credential (Upon Hire, Required)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) within 30 days (Required)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) within 60 days (Required)
