Role Overview This position involves performing patient assessments and testing related to pulmonary diseases and sleep disorders, providing patient education, and monitoring compliance with prescribed therapies. Qualifications Education: Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences required.Work Experience: Prior experience in respiratory care or successful completion of department-specific training with competency validation is required.Licenses and Certifications: RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) certified by the National Board for Respiratory Care and licensed by the state of Georgia, along with BCLS (Basic Life Support) certification upon hire. Key Responsibilities Assess and test patients with respiratory and sleep conditions.Educate patients on their therapies and monitor adherence to treatment plans.
