About the Role

This position involves performing patient assessments and testing, providing education, and monitoring compliance related to pulmonary diseases and sleep disorders.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences (required)
• Prior experience in respiratory care or completion of department-specific orientation with validated skills and competencies
• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) certification by the National Board for Respiratory Care (required upon hire)
• State licensure in Georgia (required upon hire)
• BCLS (Basic Life Support) certification (required upon hire)

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and testing related to pulmonary and sleep conditions
• Provide patient education on therapies and monitor adherence to prescribed treatments
• Maintain compliance with clinical protocols and standards
