Full time, night shift position at Piedmont Macon Medical Center. Sign-on bonus up to $5,000 available.
Responsibilities
- Perform patient assessments
- Conduct general respiratory care procedures and protocols
- Perform critical care procedures in adult care areas
- Conduct blood gas analysis
- Maintain and manage all respiratory equipment
- Provide patient education
Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences (minimum education required)
- Previous working experience in respiratory care, or successful completion of department-specific orientation including skills validation of competencies for the duties and responsibilities of this level
- Credentialed by the National Board for Respiratory Care as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Licensed by the State of Georgia under the Composite State Board of Medical Examiners
- BLS, ACLS (ALS can be used in place of ACLS), and PALS certification required
- Current certifications in BCLS and ACLS
- Must be actively practicing and maintaining all required competencies
