Sign-on bonus up to $5,000 available for full-time, night shift positions at Piedmont Macon Medical Center.
Responsibilities
- Perform patient assessments
- Conduct general respiratory care procedures and protocols
- Execute critical care procedures in adult care areas
- Perform blood gas analysis
- Maintain and manage all respiratory equipment
- Provide patient education
Requirements
- Associate’s Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences
- Previous working experience in respiratory care or successful completion of department-specific orientation, including skills validation and competencies for the duties of this role
- Credentialed by the National Board for Respiratory Care as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Licensed by the State of Georgia under the Composite State Board of Medical Examiners
- BLS, ACLS (ALS may substitute for ACLS), and PALS certifications required
- Current certifications in BCLS and ACLS
- Must actively practice and maintain all required competencies
