About the Role

As an RRT at Piedmont Athens, you'll play a pivotal role in patient care across a 427-bed Level 2 Trauma Center, including 32 adult ICU beds, 12 adult CICU beds, a Level 3 Neonatal ICU, and pediatric care. The role involves RT procedure and protocol-driven care for over 25,000 patients yearly.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and general and critical care respiratory care procedures
• Provide respiratory care for newborns in Labor and Delivery
• Perform blood gas analysis and interpretation
• Maintain and manage equipment
• Provide patient and family education in both adult and neonatal areas

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences
• Previous working experience or clinical rotations
• Great communication skills
• New Graduates are welcome

Licensure & Certifications

• Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care (RRT)
• Licensed by the State of Georgia
• Current certifications in BCLS, ACLS, and PALS
