RRT - NICU

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Education: A.S Graduation from a two year or longer AMA approved therapist school is desirable.
• Licensure: Must be licensed as a respiratory therapist in the state of Arkansas.
• Experience: Previous experience desirable but not necessary.
• Knowledge: Should possess extensive knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, and clinical medicine.
• Responsibility: Must be able to exercise judgment and accept greater responsibility in therapeutic procedures based on patient observation.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• This is a safety sensitive position.
• Normal hospital environment.
• Normal/ corrected eyesight.
• Full range of hearing.
• Operates computer, IPPB, CPAP, BIPAP and other various respiratory equipment.
• Lifts and carries up to 30lbs.
• Pushes and pulls up to 70lbs.
• Frequent sitting, standing and walking.
