About the role

A Medical technologist works under the general supervision of another sleep technologist to learn the necessary skills to become a sleep technologist in order to provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders including in center and out of center sleep testing, diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, comprehensive patient care and direct patient education. A sleep technologist is able to perform the duties defined for a sleep technician.

Responsibilities

• Gather and Analyze Patient Information
• Complete and verify documentation
• Testing Preparation Procedures
• Polysomnographic Procedures
• Polysomnographic Record Scoring
• Maintain current CPR or BCLS certification
• Demonstrate the ability to analyze complex situations and apply policy.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a recognized sleep technology program
• Current license to practice as a sleep technologist in the state of North Dakota
• Knowledge of polysomnography and sleep disorders
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

Qualifications

• Experience in sleep technology preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Skills

• Proficiency in polysomnography equipment
• Knowledge of sleep disorders and their treatments
• Ability to work with patients of all ages
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

Benefits

• Sign on bonus up to 15k DOE
• Additional incentive pay per shift based on attended study and scoring productivity

Pay

$50,000 - $60,000 per year

Schedule

Hours are generally 6:00 pm - 6:00 am and vary depending on patient volume.
