Responsibilities

  • Perform overnight sleep studies, including polysomnography, CPAP/BiPAP titration, split-night protocols, and MSLT
  • Prepare and calibrate equipment in accordance with AASM standards
  • Monitor patients throughout the night and respond to clinical events with confidence
  • Accurately score studies and produce detailed reports
  • Educate patients on sleep disorders and PAP therapy
  • Maintain equipment and follow infection control protocols
  • Document all care in the EMR

Qualifications

  • Required: High school diploma or equivalent
  • Preferred: Graduate of an accredited Polysomnography program
  • Required: Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT)
  • Required: BLS (American Heart Association) within 3 months
