About The Position
MedBridge Healthcare is seeking an experienced RPSGT in Sioux Falls, SD and surrounding areas. Competitive hourly rates are available, depending on experience - Will pay for travel! #urgentlyhiring
Responsibilities
- facilitating tests and collecting data
- responsible for preparing equipment, recording activities, and analyzing results
- responsible for following proper polysomnographic procedures including the use of electrodes, sensors, calibration of equipment, and fitting of airway pressure masks
- analysis (scoring) of clinical events, such as respiratory and cardiac episodes, and tabulation of final data to be submitted for further review
- required compliance with regulations and laws concerning safety control
Job Requirements
- High School diploma or higher education level
- Completion of an accredited Polysomnography program preferred
- Certified nationally (for application to ND) by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist "RPSGT" or certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist preferred
- Current BCLS certification
- Certification in basic cardiac life support (BCLS) and/or CPR
- Vaccination and immunization records or titers may be required
- Travel maybe required 10% of the time
Physical Demands of the Job
- The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and sit, talk and hear.
- Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and the ability to adjust focus.
- The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
