RPC SORTER

About the role

This role involves hand sorting returnable plastic containers (RPCs) used for shipping produce, eggs, meat, and other goods onto pallets. It's crucial for maintaining site efficiency and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Hand stack RPCs on pallets to appropriate height, following inventory control instructions
• Examine products for quality standards
• Ensure all trash and debris are removed prior to returning to customers
• Wrap sorted pallets and secure for shipment
• Move pallets, or materials on pallets or in crates, around the storage facility
• Accurately complete all paperwork to track daily progress
• Communicate directly with Shift Lead or On-Site Manager regularly

Requirements

• High school degree or GED
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work overtime when needed
