About the role

This safety-sensitive position assists and works with the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager to perform necessary repairs and preventive maintenance throughout the property. Responsibilities include maintaining the property's appearance, appliance maintenance, customer service, and performing make-ready duties.

Responsibilities

• Keep the property in a neat, clean, and well-maintained condition.
• Daily exterior and interior inspections of the community to ensure compliance.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and correct minor failures to air conditioning and heating units.
• Repair minor electrical and plumbing problems.
• Bring units up to market-ready condition according to company standards.
• Maintain laundry rooms to company guidelines.
• Complete daily chemical inspections, maintenance, and cleaning for pools, meeting city codes and company standards.
• Ensure the property meets and exceeds resident satisfaction standards.
• Be available for on-call emergencies, such as snow removal, per Community Manager's request.
• Perform other duties as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Pool certification preferred; HVAC certification and boiler certification if applicable.
• One year maintenance experience in residential properties.
• Frequent standing, walking, occasional sitting, lifting up to 110 pounds, squatting, reaching, stooping, climbing stairs/ladders, and balancing.
• If driving for company business, a valid driver’s license, acceptable motor vehicle record, company insurance, reliable transportation, ability to be insurable at standard rates, and proof of personal auto liability insurance.
