About the role

As an Unarmed Security Officer, you will be part of a highly trained security team that supports critical facilities and infrastructure, public venues that require an enhanced presence, and personal protective services. You will be trained by our team of highly qualified firearms instructors in safe weapons handling and marksmanship.

Responsibilities

• Check people on/off City property and record pertinent information on City approved form
• Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activities
• Man the security booth to only allow the entry of authorized vehicles
• Respond to emergencies or other disturbances that occur at or on property

Requirements

• A Valid Driver's License
• A Current guard card license as required by State or local law
• Must be 21 years or older
• May be required to perform emergency duties which require physical exertion such as: standing or walking for an entire shift, climbing stairs, lifting, carrying objects up to 75 lbs., and running

Qualifications

• A High school diploma or equivalent
• Possession of a college degree is highly desirable
• Speak, read, and write English
• All assigned personnel should be of high integrity and possess exemplary security skills and judgment
• Possess above average computer skills
• Must hold all necessary and required licenses, permits and certifications required by the States and/or Countries of assignment to perform security officer duties
