Weyerhaeuser’s Snow Peak Timberlands operation, based out of Lebanon, OR, is seeking individuals who desire to work in a market-focused logging environment. This is a full-time, hourly position represented by the IAM-AW Union.

Responsibilities
- Ability to perform as Loader Operator, Shovel Logger, Processor Operator, leveling shovel, skidder, and yoder as required.
- Train as necessary to maintain competency on all equipment.
- Flow to work as assigned to fill needs of the business.
- Safely and competently operate logging equipment on various slopes and soils while adhering to safety, environmental, production, and quality standards.
- Make daily adjustments to maximize logging system output as dictated by business needs (weather, labor, truck availability, etc.).
- Proficiently operate logging equipment to meet production standards effectively and safely.
- Operate and become efficient with apps and other systems/technology as required.
- Demonstrate organizational and leadership characteristics to layout cutting and Y&L logging plan.
- Perform and assist on equipment inspections and fully support and participate in preventative maintenance procedures and routine maintenance repairs as they develop.
- Work independently, as well as part of a team.
Requirements
- Demonstrated commitment and ability to work safely in both an individual and team environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Two years of experience operating logging equipment.
- Sound understanding of shovel logging processes such as logging, processing, and loading.
- Excellent listening and communication skills; ability to demonstrate open, honest, and regular exchange of information, and treat all employees with respect and dignity.

Pay
$39.18 per hour.
