Responsibilities
- Set and forerun routes
- Ensure quality, consistency, and grading accuracy across all climbs
- Provide mentorship and feedback to other routesetters
- Maintain a safe, tidy, and efficient work zone
- Communicate effectively with the head routesetter and management on daily priorities
- Auxiliary with competitions and special events
- Follow all safety protocols and model professional conduct
Requirements
- Be at 18 years of age or older
- Must be able to lead belay, lead climb, and boulder
- Must be available to routeset rope routes on Mondays and boulders on Thursdays from 8:00am – 4:30pm
- 1 or more years of professional route setting experience
- Ability to set and forerun routes up to 5.12 and boulders up to V7
- Ideal candidate would have the ability to climb 5.13 and V9
- Strong understanding of movement, risk management, and member experience
- Proficiency in routesetting on rope systems with a haul line
- Skilled with all tools involved in routesetting (impact drivers, angle grinders, etc.)
- Able to meet the physical demands of routesetting
- Strong leadership, communication, and attention to detail
- Friendly, approachable, and team-focused personality
Pay
$16 to $22 per hour

Part-Time hourly. Potential for full-time hourly employment, with additional roles
