Requirements Key Skills: Operate manual or CNC routers to cut, trim and shape materials Read and interpret blueprints, routing instructions, and measurementsSet up tools, fixtures, and materials for each jobEnsure accuracy and quality of cuts while minimizing wastePerform routine maintenance and adjustments on router machinesFollow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work areaAbility to stand for long periods of timeAbility to lift up to 50 lbs Experience Previous experience as a router operator in a manufacturing or fabrication setting is preferredAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and measurementsKnowledge of different materials and router bit selectionAbility to differentiate materials, aluminum, steel, stainless steel, and types of plasticStrong attention to detail and ability to work independentlyProgramming capabilities preferred Basic math skills and mechanical aptitudeCommitment to workplace safety Qualifications 2 year degree or field experience2+ years of router machine experience (CNC or manual) Technical or vocational training in machining or fabrication is a plus Summary Massman Companies is a leader in the design and manufacturing of precision automated machinery, Massman Companies has been providing innovative packaging systems for over 40 years.
