Position Summary

The role is based in the Central Production Team at our Tacoma, WA store. Routers are responsible for the collection, transporting, and sorting of donated merchandise in the production department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provides a smooth flow of goods to the production workstations.
• Reacts with urgency to determine production needs and adapts quickly to changing business conditions.
• Tickets items for sale by attaching a price ticket to each item.
• Places items on or in appropriate transport containers safely and labels them correctly.
• Monitors and reports supply needs to the supervisor.
• Assists the supervisor with training of employees and clients and performs quality‑control evaluations.
• Ensures the area stays clean, well‑organized, and safe.
• Assists the production department.
• Maintains receiving and delivery shipping logs.
• Maintains safety standards as provided by the Production Supervisor.
• Product Quality Assurance – inspect, clean, and repair items to be priced and placed on the sales floor.
• Product Sorting – unload sacks, boxes, and miscellaneous donated items from trucks into donation carts and transport them to proper processing workstations or storage areas.
• Record Keeping – assist with tracking and recording daily production, donor, and shipping/receiving records.

Pay

Hourly Rate: $17.13 per hour (full‑time position).
