Route Van Sales Representative- Cincinnati, OH

About the role

This Route Sales Representative is an entrepreneur at heart, thriving in building customer relationships with new accounts and developing additional contacts within existing accounts. The position will drive a company van/truck equipped with fabrication tools and equipment to sell to fabricator customers, leveraging deep product and service knowledge of stone fabrication to identify and solicit potential upsell opportunities for Caesarstone’s primary products, including Quartz, Natural Stone, and Porcelain.

Responsibilities

• Drive a van/truck along an established route to service and sell within an existing customer base
• Maintain professionalism, tact, and diplomacy to positively represent the company
• Develop and maintain a high level of product and service knowledge on stone fabrication, tools, and equipment
• Take orders from clients and prepare products for purchase
• Build and maintain awareness of new products, services, competitor activities, and market research
• Develop relationships with new accounts and expand contacts within existing accounts
• Handle customer complaints as they arise, escalating when necessary
• Respond to customer service calls courteously and professionally
• Consult with customers post-sale to resolve problems and provide ongoing support
• Maintain a high level of customer service

Requirements

• Proven sales ability with a track record of meeting or surpassing targets and goals
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving abstract
• High level of integrity and work ethic
• Strong time management skills
• Ability to quickly learn and communicate product and service knowledge to customers
• Effective verbal and written communication skills

Work Conditions

• Frequent interaction with customers, clients, and the public
• Extended driving periods, including multiple deliveries
• Work both indoors and outdoors
• Manual dexterity required for using desktop computers and peripherals
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds
• Regular physical movements including:
  • Sitting for long periods during driving
  • Handling/gripping tools, equipment, steering wheel, and levers
  • Climbing in and out of the van and customer locations
  • Occasional stooping or crouching to access equipment/tools in the van

Pay

Projected hiring salary range is between $42,000 and $55,000.
