Route Service Representative (4-Day Workweek)
About the Role
Cintas is seeking a Route Service Representative to manage and grow customer accounts in the Rental Division. Our partners drive a truck along an established route and service and sell within an existing customer base. This is a physical, fast-paced, indoor/outdoor position where you will deliver and pick up uniforms, shop towels, chemical cleaning products, and other facility service products.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the face of Cintas to customers, building rapport with key decision makers
- Ensure quality standards and proactively solve customer concerns
- Grow the existing customer base by upselling and cross-selling additional products and services
- Negotiate service agreement renewals and control inventory while working professionally and safely
- Comply with driving and vehicle regulations
Requirements
- Must meet all Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements for driving a regulated vehicle weighing more than 10,000 lbs, including:
- Active driver’s license
- At least 21 years of age
- DOT medical certification
- Documentation of previous employment
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position
- High School diploma, GED, or Military Service
- Strong customer service orientation
- Self-motivation and ability to work in a team-based environment
- Positive attitude, ambition, organization, and service spirit
Training and Compensation
Enjoy a comprehensive 10-week training program with a starting hourly rate of $24.00/hour until assigned a route. After being assigned a route, you will receive a solid base salary with commission potential. The majority of roles follow a 4-day workweek with no nights or weekends. Additional incentives include monthly and quarterly performance bonuses.
