Route Sales Representative

Job Summary

We are seeking a Regional Sales Rep to join our team at Cold Front Distribution. As a key member of our sales and delivery team, you will play a vital role in optimizing the purchase, flow, sale, and service of nationally recognized brands in the Ice Cream, Frozen Pizza, and Frozen Prepared Foods categories.

Responsibilities

• Assists in training of sales staff as deemed necessary by District/Area Manager
• Completes review sheets on sales staff during ride alongs
• Supports routes by providing coverage of sales staff within districts and/or region for time off as needed
• Develops new accounts and understands and fills in for every position within district
• Directly manages retail accounts which includes conducting monthly business reviews with customers
• Strides towards achieving sales and contribution goals
• Auxiliary in creating planograms and resets within district as needed
• Complies with D.O.T. regulations
• Ensures safe driving and work practices
• Responds to warehouse/freezer temperature monitoring alerts when required

Benefits

• Annual Salary Range: $55,000 - $60,000 (DOE)
• Paid Time Off (PTO) accrues upon first paycheck

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Driver’s License and be able to obtain a DOT Medical Certificate
• Knowledge, skills, and abilities including organizational skills, problem-solving skills, self-starter, interpersonal and communication skills, flexibility with availability and work hours, work weekends as needed, customer focus and relationships
• Frequent travel (up to 50%) and overnight travel may be required
