Route Manager (Daytona, FL)

Primary Duties And Responsibilities

• Manages daily route assignments to ensure all customers are properly serviced according to contractual agreements.
• Maintains a relationship with the dispatch team regarding customer service and any foreseeable issues.
• Monitors service, safety, and production of all drivers on the assigned route.
• Manages driver time and attendance to ensure efficiency.
• Responsible for resolving issues with driver errors and missed customer pickups.
• Oversees driver compliance with regulatory agencies and company training.
• Coordinates with Safety and HR teams for driver drug and alcohol testing and physical requirements.
• Conducts appropriate investigations for all incidents and injuries, suggesting areas of improvement and training.
• Works with the Operational and HR teams to resolve any employee relations concerns.
• Manages all appropriate documentation for Department of Transportation compliance.
• Manages and audits all daily driver documentation and data, including time and attendance, service tickets, and driver hours.
• Promotes a union-free workplace as appropriate.
• Analyzes daily route data and suggests areas of improvement to the Operations Management team.

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Post-secondary education in business, computers, or office management is an asset.
