About the role

Canteen is hiring immediate full-time ROUTE DRIVER - UTILITY (RELIEF DRIVER) positions. The role is located at Canteen - 4100 West Wisconsin Avenue, Appleton, WI 54913. Online applications are accepted only. The schedule is full-time, Monday through Friday, with a start time between 1:00 am and 5:00 am. Previous route driving experience is preferred, along with a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

  • Services a particular route or location during the absence of the regular route or warehouse employee.
  • Makes daily opening and closing of the operation, and training of new route service personnel.
  • Delivers and sells products or renders services, collects money from machines, and makes change.
  • Collects stale, rejected, or unsold merchandise, collects money from machines, and refills bill and coin changers.
  • Records transactions on appropriate card and/or electronic device; accountable for cash and product.
  • Selects items from warehouse and loads truck; prepares order forms for food and pastry products.
  • Performs routine maintenance on and sanitation of machines.
  • Sets up merchandise and sales promotion displays or issues sales promotion materials to customers.
  • Maintains a clean and safe work environment; performs job safely.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Valid driver's license, ensuring safe operation of company vehicles in accordance with traffic laws and conditions.

Pay

Fixed Pay Rate: $23.66 per hour.
