Route Driver (Produce Delivery)

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customer locations in a timely manner
• Picking and loading orders on to truck
• Drive and deliver orders to customers
• Load and unload product
• Verify order to ensure correct products unloaded/loaded
• Avoid all necessary paperwork is completed
• Return all shipping documents to logistics manager on completion of deliveries
• Address and resolve customer problems as appropriate
• Colelct on unpaid orders and shipments
• Maintain cleanliness of vehicle and report any maintenance problems to manager
• Positively represent the company in all customers interactions

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum 6 months experience in driving a box truck (20-26ft)
• Must have clean driving record
• Pass a Fingerprinting/Background Check to go on school grounds
• Ability to handle physical workload - lifting 60+lbs

Qualifications

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
• Ability to write simple correspondence
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide into all units of measure
• Ability to problem solve or present information to customer, clients or other employees
