Route Driver

About the role

Culligan is currently seeking individuals experienced in customer-focused positions to act as a route driver.

Responsibilities

• Operate a company‑provided route vehicle.
• Deliver product to customers and maintain good customer service.
• Acquire new business for additional services.
• Direct interface with customers while performing routine customer service tasks, including identifying opportunities for other or additional company products and services.
• Maintain routes and accounts for proper routing sequence, and help with collections and minimum delivery requirements set by the store.
• Deliver/exchange all types of bottled water, salt, chemicals, and filters as required on scheduled routes.
• Collect and document receipt of money from customers and complete all paperwork.
• Ability to operate carts, dollies, forklifts, lift gates and hand trucks.
• Abide by all company policies as contained in the employee handbook.
• Perform all duties in conformance with appropriate safety and security standards and wear required safety equipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of the city area where you would be working.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
• Maintain a good driving record and possess a valid driver’s license.
• Dependable, organized, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Physical ability to lift and carry objects weighing 40‑200 pounds repeatedly (more than 70% of the time).
• Significant time spent walking, standing, sitting, and climbing in and out of the vehicle.
• Ability to perform movements such as bending, stooping, squatting, climbing, reaching above the shoulder, crouching, balancing, pushing and pulling.
