About the role
The Route Driver plays a key role in the sales process, making timely deliveries of Atlantic Coca-Cola Bottling Company products to various customer locations. They may also help in setting out and/or rotating new product and adjusting point-of-sale displays.
Responsibilities
- Follow work orders and standard operating procedures (SOPs) while making deliveries along a designated route.
- Follow all DOT laws and company policies and standards.
- Unload vehicle at customer site, moving product to designated location(s), filling shelves, rotating stock, building displays, and receiving prior unsold goods (credits).
- Follow all safety regulations and maintain a clean and orderly work area at customer sites.
- Ensure professional contact with customers and maintain a clean and neat appearance at all times to represent the company and Coca-Cola brand image.
- Exhibit ethical conduct at all times.
- Perform other duties as required.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- No more than 2 moving violations and no OWIs in the last five years.
- Class A CDL with air brakes is required (company will assist candidate to obtain).
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to read and follow directions and work orders.
- Customer-focused and an excellent team-player.
- Flexible with the ability to adapt to varying situations.
- Regular, consistent attendance is essential.
- Must have reliable transportation.
Skills
- Some light computer experience is helpful.
- Ability to lift and/or move items up to 55 lbs (moving equipment and tools provided to reduce strain).
- Physical abilities include: standing, walking, twisting, grasping, reaching, pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, sitting, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing.
- Specific vision abilities: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- Ability to climb stairs.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions (sun, rain, sleet, snow, cold, heat).

Pay
$27–30.50/hour.
Note: This position is safety-sensitive. Employees are subject to pre-employment/post-offer physical, drug screen, and random drug testing. The role involves extensive day travel and frequent interaction with customers.
