Route Delivery Driver

About the role

THIS POSITION OFFERS A BASE HOURLY RATE + BONUS OPPORTUNITY UP TO AN ADDITIONAL $400 PER MONTH IN SAFE DRIVING REWARDS!

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles safely and professionally at all times.
• Deliver products to specified locations in a timely manner.
• Unload and stack products with customers in a friendly courteous manner.
• Complete delivery paperwork and submit required documentation promptly.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintain cleanliness of delivery vehicle and work area.
• Absorb additional duties as assigned to support business needs.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a route delivery or transportation role.
• Valid state-issued driver's license and a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOT Medical Card.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.

Qualifications

• Experience in the automotive aftermarket or logistics industry is preferred.
• Familiarity with basic warehouse procedures and systems is preferred.
• Working knowledge of DOT safety regulations is preferred.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

• Operates in mixed environments, including warehouse settings and outdoor delivery areas.
• Exposed to varying weather and traffic conditions.
• Frequently required to stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, and lift.
• Regularly lifts and moves up to 10 pounds, frequently lifts/moves up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lifts/moves items over 100 pounds.
• Essential to operate delivery equipment and handle materials.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Requirements

• To ensure safety and compliance, employees in this role are required to always wear steel-toe or composite safety shoes.
