Route Delivery Driver

About the role

The Route Delivery Driver at Pacific Seafood supports operational efficiency, enhances brand reputation, and drives sales. This role requires a customer service-oriented individual with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Quality and Compliance: Ensure goods are loaded safely and logically, verify order accuracy, and handle merchandise efficiently.
• Efficient Operations: Apply The Pacific Group Diamond Philosophy, manage routes, and complete necessary paperwork.
• Customer Service: Provide prompt and accurate service, address customer issues, and maintain positive relationships.
• Physical Demands: Stand, walk, reach, grasp, talk, hear, lift up to 100 lbs., stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and operate heavy machinery.
• Working Conditions: Work in an office and warehouse environment, exposed to moderate noise, plant exposure to wet, cold, and humid temperatures, and standard office equipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• One year of related experience in delivery and sales of perishable food products
• Valid driver's license
• Clean MVR for past 3 years

Qualifications

• Proven track record of succeeding in time-sensitive situations
• Familiarity with local area, including streets, highways, and buildings
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and occasionally up to 100 lbs.
• Physical requirements: standing, walking, reaching, grasping, talking, hearing, lifting, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, operating heavy machinery, and working in various environmental conditions.
