Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles, adhering to all city, state, and federal driving laws.
• Maintain a valid driver's license and a clean driving record; pass an MVR check and uphold a satisfactory driving record as defined by company policy.
• Use basic computer skills for completing delivery documentation, communication, and inventory tracking.
• Load and unload materials (up to 100 lbs) safely and efficiently, with or without material handling equipment.
• Deliver materials to manned and unmanned locations, ensuring proper placement and removal of debris or packaging.
• Accurately complete and submit delivery documentation, including manifests and inventory counts.
• Perform regular cycle counts and keep bin locations organized and restocked.
• Maintain delivery vehicles in clean and good condition (swept, washed, and debris-free).
• Collaborate with warehouse and operations teams to support workflow.
• Maintain a professional and respectful attitude with customers, coworkers, and supervisors.
• Complete all assigned duties before the end of each shift.
• Be available for overtime and occasional weekend/holiday work.

Safety Duties

• Adhere to, promote, and accept responsibility for compliance with Federal and Local Occupational Safety and Health Regulations, Industry Consensus Standards, and KGP Injury and Illness Prevention Program Manual.
• Participate in job site safety/hazard analysis.

Requirements

• High school graduate or GED equivalent.
• 1–4 years of practical driving and delivery experience.
• 1–4 years of general operation of material handling equipment and forklift operation.
• Ability to read, comprehend, and write simple instructions, correspondence, and memos.
• Basic mathematical skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using units of American money, weight, volume, and distance.
• Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Ability to handle problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Physical Demands

The role requires regular talking and hearing, frequent sitting, use of hands to handle objects or tools, and reaching with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Employees must be able to lift and move materials up to 100 lbs.

The work environment is typically moderate in noise level.
