About the role

We are looking for a hard-working Roustabout to join the Xcel Energy team in Grand Junction, Colorado!

This position will assist Field Operators and Working Foreman in the overall operation and maintenance of Natural Gas gathering systems, compressor stations, storage facilities, transmission facilities and metering facilities. This position will lead into the Field Operator Apprenticeship.

Responsibilities

• Assist Field Operators and Working Foreman in the overall operation and maintenance of Natural Gas gathering systems, compressor stations, storage facilities, transmission facilities and metering facilities.
• Lead into the Field Operator Apprenticeship.

Requirements

• High School or GED
• Class A CDL Driver's License with hazmat endorsement required, or able to obtain one within 6 months of hire

Preferred Requirements

• Experience in the Natural Gas industry
• Experience maintaining and operating natural gas compressors
• Mechanical background

Pay

The anticipated starting base pay for this position is: $35.89 per hour

Schedule

Must live within 40 minutes or 40 miles of the Mesa County Operations Center.
