About the role
Join us in our partnership with Novant Health/AirLink! We are actively seeking a skilled Rotor Wing Pilot in the Southeastern North Carolina Area to be based in the Richlands, NC. This critical role requires precision and professionalism, offering you the opportunity to play a key part in emergent and non emergent patient transport.
Responsibilities
- Directly represents Apollo and plays a key role in customer service and quality communications with people with whom the pilot directly interacts.
- Retain the final authority for the safe operation of the aircraft.
- Ensure the assigned aircraft is airworthy and all proper documents are on board the aircraft.
- Make decisions as necessary to accept, reject, or terminate the flight, or deviation from a planned destination when operating conditions dictate.
- Adhere to proper Crew Resource Management (CRM) techniques and will seek input from all medical crew members prior to rendering a decision.
- Positively represent Apollo to customers, employees and patients through action, behavior, and communication.
- Participate in the pre-flight risk assessment process.
- Responsible for Tier Two operational control functions.
Requirements
- Current FAA Commercial Certificate, Rotorcraft, Helicopter; Instrument, Helicopter
- Current FAA 2nd Class Medical Certificate
- 2,000 Total Flight Hours
- 1200 hours of helicopter flight time
- 1000 hours of PIC time
- 50 hours of unaided with 100 hours of aided night flight time
- 500 hours of turbine time
- Strongly encouraged ATP
- Previous air medical experience (Preferred)
- Valid Drivers License
