About the role
Seeking experienced helicopter pilots to operate aircraft in emergency medical services, ensuring compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations, Air Evac EMS Operations Manual, and local regulations.
Responsibilities
- Safe and efficient aircraft operation following Rotorcraft Flight Manual
- Monitoring weather conditions and conducting preflight inspections
- Reporting discrepancies and coordinating with maintenance
- Staying current on weather updates and maintaining readiness for duty
Qualifications
- 2000 hours total flight time, including 1500 helicopter hours and 1000 pilot-in-command hours
- 500 hours turbine experience
- Night unaided or aided hours required
- Rotorcraft-Helicopter Commercial Certificate and Instrument Rating
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to meet 230-pound weight limit in flight gear
Upload pilot license and FAA medical certificate. Prior HAA experience is preferred.
