About the Role

As an Air Ambulance Pilot, you will ensure the safe, rapid transportation of patients in emergency medical situations. You will operate aircraft in compliance with FAA regulations, plan and execute flights considering weather, weight, and fuel, and collaborate with medical teams, ground crew, and dispatch for seamless missions. You will respond promptly to emergency calls, maintain accurate flight and maintenance logs, and represent the organization professionally.

Responsibilities

  • Operate aircraft in compliance with FAA regulations.
  • Plan and execute flights considering weather, weight, and fuel requirements.
  • Collaborate with medical teams, ground crew, and dispatch for seamless missions.
  • Respond promptly to emergency calls.
  • Maintain accurate flight and maintenance logs.

Requirements

  • FAA certifications: Commercial Pilot Certificate with Instrument Rating or Airline Transport Pilot Certificate.
  • Current FAA medical clearance.
  • 2,500 hours helicopter flight time, including cross-country, night, and instrument hours.
  • Ability to sit for long periods and perform inspections.
  • Lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Meet FAA medical standards and tolerate environmental conditions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Air ambulance or night vision goggle experience.
  • Turbine-engine hours.
  • Proximity to the base.

Pay

$46.24 - $72.80 per hour, depending on experience.
