Role Overview
Seeking an Air Ambulance Pilot responsible for providing rapid, life-saving medical transportation while ensuring safety and compliance. Key duties include operating aircraft per FAA regulations, planning flights considering weather and fuel needs, and collaborating with medical teams, ground crew, and dispatch for seamless missions. The pilot must respond promptly to emergencies, maintain accurate logs, and represent the organization professionally.
Qualifications & Skills
- FAA certifications: Commercial Pilot Certificate with Instrument Rating or higher, current FAA Second-Class Medical Certificate.
- Flying experience: 2,500+ helicopter hours, night and cross-country experience, instrument hours, and night flight hours.
- Strong decision-making, communication, teamwork, situational awareness, and safety compliance skills.
- Physical ability to perform pre/post-flight inspections, lift up to 50 pounds, and meet FAA medical standards.
