About the role
The Utah Department of Transportation's Engineering Rotational Program is designed for recent graduates or those within one year of graduating from a Civil Engineering program. It offers opportunities to learn various areas of transportation engineering.
Position Information
- Salary: Engineer II - $41.25, Engineer I - $36.83 (based on experience)
- Status: Full Time

Key Responsibilities
- Participate in a variety of activities throughout the engineering project lifecycle.
- Aid in the planning, design, construction, and maintenance of transportation facilities.
- Monitor and evaluate contract and contractor performance.
- Collect and review research materials.
- Prepare engineering and design documents using computer-assisted tools.
Qualifications
- Engineer I: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field, FE exam passed, less than 2 years of post-grad experience.
- Engineer II: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field, FE exam passed, at least 2 years of post-grad experience.
