About the role

The Millwright Mechanic supports the critical operations of energy, industrial, and infrastructure projects by ensuring equipment is installed correctly, aligned precisely, and operates safely.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, and align industrial machinery and mechanical equipment
• Use precision tools (dial indicators, laser alignment systems, micrometers) for accurate fit and alignment
• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on pumps, conveyors, gearboxes, compressors, and rotating equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals
• Inspect parts for wear, damage, or misalignment and recommend corrective actions
• Work closely with site supervisors, engineers, and other trades to complete project scopes
• Follow all site safety protocols and report hazards or near-misses
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure tools and equipment are in good working order
