Responsibilities
- Monitor collections, post rent payments, enforce the collection policy and initiate legal action when required
- Facilitate all aspects of apartment leasing: touring with prospective residents, processing applications, recertifications and negotiating lease renewals
- Provide exceptional customer service, respond timely to resident issues and complaints, and promote positive resident relations
- Under the supervision of the Property Manager, assist in all facets of physical and financial Management as needed and assigned
- Act as Property Manager in absence of the Manager for specified amounts of time
- Prepare financial reports for the Property Manager as well as resident correspondence, and recertification notices
- Monitor the flow of accounts payable from issuing purchase orders to processing invoices
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- Minimum of 1 year of tax credit experience, including hands-on file processing
- At least 1 year of leasing experience, including conventional and tax credit
- Less than 1 year of supervisory experience
- Ability to lead and manage leasing and renewal activity
- Current driver's license in good standing and ability to meet the driving records standards outlined in the Company Safe Vehicular Operations Policy
- Experience with various computer systems, including Microsoft Office and Excel
- Solution-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's degree
- Experience with OneSite, Yardi or RealPage property management software
