ROP Instructor-Adult (Culinary & Marketing)

About the role

The ROP Instructor-Adult (Culinary & Marketing) will provide instruction and training in a classroom setting and through community classroom/work experience to prepare grant eligible students for employment in the culinary and marketing fields.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement curriculum and program development
• Evaluate student performance and set objectives
• Develop community sites for student internships
• Lead creative initiatives within student groups, school personnel, and the public sector
• Provide instruction in Culinary Essentials Program

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Culinary experience required
• Valid California Driver’s License
• Valid California Designated Subjects Career Technical Education Credential in Culinary Arts
• Three (3) years of work experience in the required career field, with one (1) year within the last five (5) years
• Minimum liability insurance required by law
• DMV Driver Record printout required

Qualifications

• Three (3) recent letters of recommendation
• All college transcripts (including community colleges and universities)
• A copy of the California Credential(s)
• Verification of Work Experience
