About the role

CTE Credential in Building and Construction Trades, or qualify with three years of full-time industry experience (paid or unpaid) or a combination of applicable college credits and experience, plus a high school diploma. Specific credential information available at the LACOE CTE Credentials page.

Requirements / Qualifications

• CTE Credential in Building and Construction Trades, or qualify with three (3) years of full-time (paid or unpaid) industry experience (or combination of college credits and experience), plus high school diploma
• English Learner Compliance: If you do not have an English Learner Authorization, you must apply for an emergency/waiver permit with the CTC as a condition of employment. Within the first year, you will need to earn the English Learner Authorization certificate by coursework, exam, or combination. Associated costs for the emergency permit and coursework/exams are at employee's expense

• Three professional letters of recommendation from immediate supervisors, signed and dated within the past two years
• Copy of CTE Credential and transcripts

Pay & schedule

• Pay: $49.00 – $63.00 hourly rate
• Length of work year: 183 work days
• Employment type: Full time
