ROP/CTE Teacher, Construction Trades - 2025-2026 Eligibility Pool
Requirements / Qualifications
- CTE Credential in the area of Building and Construction Trades, or qualify based on three (3) years of full-time (paid or unpaid) industry experience (or a combination of applicable college credits and industry experience), along with a high school diploma.
- Specific credential information can be found here. The associated costs for the preliminary CTC credential will be at the employee's expense.
- English Learner Compliance: If you do not have an English Learner Authorization, you will be required to apply for an emergency/waiver permit with the CTC as a condition of employment. During the first year of employment, you will need to earn the English Learner Authorization certificate through coursework, exam, or a combination of both. The associated costs for the emergency permit and coursework/exams will be at the employee's expense.

- A letter of introduction
- A current résumé
- Three professional letters of recommendation from immediate supervisors, signed and dated within the past two years
- A copy of the CTE Credential and transcripts
