About the role

The Hollywood Roosevelt-Rooms Inspector position is available at an iconic hotel built in 1927, reflecting classic Hollywood in every sense. Located on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, The Hollywood Roosevelt offers guests an authentic experience of Hollywood's storied past.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness, presentation, and overall condition meet The Hollywood Roosevelt standards.
  • Inspect housekeeping storage areas daily to ensure they are clean, organized, and fully stocked with amenities, linens, and terry items.
  • Complete inspection checklists and housekeeping reports, monitor inspection results, identify deficiencies, and communicate concerns to Housekeeping leadership.
  • Aid in training and coaching team members, reinforcing departmental procedures and service standards, and supporting daily housekeeping operations as needed.
  • Handle guest requests and concerns professionally, coordinate with other hotel departments to support seamless guest experiences, and ensure all safety, security, and operational standards are consistently followed.

Requirements

  • Prior housekeeping experience and a strong understanding of cleanliness and guest service standards.
  • Previous experience as a Rooms Inspector or Housekeeping Supervisor preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of Opera Cloud, Alice, Chargeback, and Microsoft Office.
  • Efficiently work under pressure with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards and meeting deadlines.
  • Strong organizational skills, sound judgment, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Effective communication and leadership skills, with the ability to coach and support team members while promoting a positive and guest-focused work environment.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities, respond effectively to operational needs, and consistently follow all hotel safety and security procedures.
