Responsibilities

• Schedule room and cleaning assignments to ensure proper coverage
• Inspect all assigned rooms and public areas to ensure furnishings, equipment, linens, etc. are clean and in good repair
• Provide efficient and objective feedback to room attendants to drive efficiency and quality within the housekeeping department
• Ensure all associates have proper supplies, equipment, and uniforms including nametags and designated PPE
• Train associates on safety standards and enforce those standards consistently
• Identify associates engaging in unsafe behaviors and retrain them appropriately
• Complete accident investigations and take steps to prevent future accidents
• Perform all housekeeping duties necessary, including making beds, vacuuming, and cleaning
• Verify and update the status of discrepant rooms throughout the shift
• Perform opening and closing shift duties
• Notify maintenance department of necessary repairs
• Monitor cleanliness of hotels including parking lot and exterior entrances
• Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Other duties as assigned
