Responsibilities

  • Process stay overs and room moves every morning to include sending the list via email to housekeeping and engineering.
  • Report and communicate the consecutive stays.
  • Change room assignments for pre-registered guests to ensure they are moved to clean/available inventory and contact them when the unit is available.
  • Work with the Vacation Concierge Team to ensure all their arrivals are clean, registration cards are printed, and guest keys are made.
  • Communicate with Revenue Management regarding assignment issues.
  • Maintain knowledge of the resort events & hours of operation.
  • Ensure files are kept up to date to include the Vacation Concierge Daily Log, Room Move Log, AM Reports, and Early Out Log.
  • Promote goodwill by being courteous, friendly, and helpful to guests, managers, and team members.
  • Absorb guests' account through credit card or cash payments.
  • Ensure billing is accurate and make necessary adjustments with a computerized system.
  • Maintain compliance with resort policy relating to cash handling.
  • Provide guests with assistance at the Front Desk during the check-in and check-out process.
  • Follow established procedures for both registration and departure.
  • Occasionally assist with other duties assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of prior rooms control experience.
  • A flexible schedule including nights and weekends is required.
  • 1 to 2 years in customer service is required.
  • Experience in the vacation ownership/timeshare industry is a plus.
  • Be well-versed in proper etiquette and telephone protocol.
  • Must be able to learn diverse tasks and administer multiple tasks.
  • Must have exceptional communication skills.
