About the role
A passionate and detail-oriented Room Service Captain is needed to drive seamless operations and ensure every guest’s in-room dining experience is personalized and exceptional.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily in-room dining operations, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of orders to guest rooms
- Monitor food presentation, tray setup, and delivery processes to maintain Loews’ quality standards
- Coordinate with kitchen, bar, and front desk teams to guarantee smooth service flow
- Greet guests warmly, address inquiries or special requests, and resolve complaints professionally to ensure satisfaction
- Lead, coach, and support room service servers and order takers during shifts
- Assist with onboarding and training new team members; manage daily staff assignments
- Conduct pre-shift meetings to share goals, menu updates, and guest preferences
- Maintain inventory of room service supplies and ensure proper equipment handling
- Enforce safety, sanitation, and hotel policies throughout operations

Requirements
- One year in-room dining or food and beverage experience in high volume, quality hotel operation
- Thorough knowledge of quality room service techniques and standards
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and customer-oriented attitude
- Ability to lift and carry food service trays weighing 35 plus pounds
- Ability to work flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
