Room Control Coordinator, Nursing Administration, FT, 07P-7:30A

Responsibilities

Accepts reservations for admission to the hospital and internal requests for patient placement.

Captures and processes patient admissions and discharges.

Coordinates staffing activities for the nursing units and ensures adequate staffing is provided on all shifts for the optimal care of patients in accordance to budget, census and acuity.

Requirements

• Experienced in healthcare.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize work independently.
• Must have a flexible work schedule to cover essential duties on a day/night shifts as needed.
• Must have working knowledge of micro-computers, with willingness to expand this knowledge.
• Must possess excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, Certificate, GED, training or experience required.

Pay

Estimated pay range for this position is $18.32 - $23.27 / hour depending on experience.

Schedule

Must be available to work day/night shifts as needed.
